Karma Palsang Doendrup Ling - Radiant Place where Everything is Accomplished

To use Superlatives all the Time seems after a while a bit inflationary and exaggerating, but i am so sorry: again - only Superlatives come to mind in this Place.

The Great House in the Mountains is located near the old and traditional Village of Palaios Panteleimon at the lower Mount Olympus, 470m Altitude with a magnificent View over the Gulf of Thermaikos surrounded by woods of old Chestnuts and Arbatus.  The House has three Storys with Plenty of Room 51(!) windows, a big Terrasse, a wonderful Balcony, a Kitchen and an even bigger Course Kitchen on the Ground Floor and lots of beautiful Retreat Rooms and every Story with its own perfect Bathroom. And last but not least the great Gompa with an incredible view over the Gulf and the Hills of Chalkidiki.

I have to admit:  the Days here were more Vacation than Retreat. We managed to do a longer Meditation Session in the morning and a shorter in the evening, over the Day we were a bit distracted by hiking in the Mountains and relaxing at the Beach. Or in short: Enjoying Greece. But also that trains somehow the habit to see all Phenomena as perfect, pure and dreamlike ;-).

The Places we visited  so far were all very powerful und incredible beautiful. But also here, the deepest experience besides Meditating (together) is to meet all the other Diamondway Practitioners. Without them these Places simply wouldn't exist and wouldn't be kept alive. To hear the Storys of the Residents, local Sangha Members or others Travellers like us and to share our experiences  and to see and expierience how many People were and are so deeply inspired by our Lama is for me the real Purpose of this Journey.  On the Other hand, without all this Places, meeting the Friends would be much more difficult and the Stupas itself are a complete other Thing. They work-for and impact all beeings around on a deep, profound and subtle Level but again are man made and man maintained.

We stayed here 5 Nights, the longest stay so far, therefor her some more Pictures ;-)
